What Are Wisdom Teeth?
Third molars are commonly referred to as wisdom teeth. They are usually the last teeth to develop and are located in the back of your mouth, behind your second molars. Their development is usually completed between the middle teenage years and early twenties, a time traditionally associated with the onset of maturity and the attainment of wisdom.

I called because I had very bad pain that I was not able to sleep. I am also had a liver transplant not that long ago and have a lot of medical restrictions. The only thing they asked was "can you come now". I am 65 years old and had to have a abscessed wisdom tooth removed. I was home in 3 hours and I was a first time patient.

Surgery went quick and I don't remember anything after the doctor came in to begin. Doctor and assistants seemed to be lacking in compassion and very dry but they did a wonderful job on telling you what they would be doing next.

I thought my gums and face would be sore from the experience, but there is minimal problems less than 24 hours after the procedure. I have taken pain medication sparingly and on day two have only taken one Motrin tablet. What I liked was the explanation of what to expect, which made it easier to understand the procedure and the after-effects. A big "Thank You" to Dr. Cohen and his staff.

So far so good! I got all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I decided against the general anesthesia, and it wasn't bad at all. The worst part was when they poked my gums to numb me. I think they're healing nicely, with all the meds they gave me for aftercare. Two thumbs up.
