Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires at least four additional years of accredited hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school.
As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon,Dr. Cohen manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions.
We practice the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise in:

- Wisdom tooth removal
- Cosmetic facial fillers
This also includes reconstructive techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We diagnose and treat facial pain, injuries and fractures. Dr. Cohen has a special interest with additional training in non-surgical facial rejuvenation techniques
with Botox and dermal fillers.
Surgical & Administrative Staff
The surgical staff at Lakes Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are experienced well-trained assistants, who aid in the administration of intravenous (IV) sedation, inhalational anesthesia and surgical procedures in our state-of-the-art-office.
Our patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. The administrative staff are informed personnel, well-versed in health insurance policies, equipped to answer both your dental and medical coverage questions. All of our staff are certified in CPR.
